Trump’s inaccurate slam on the UK’s national health care system fact checked

Host Ethan Bearman didn’t hold back on calling out glaring inaccuracies in Trump’s 4 a.m. Twitter slam against the UK’s national health care system (NHS).

The tweet in question (seen below) capitalized on the basis that thousands of Britons had taken to the streets on Saturday in opposition of the UK’s “broken” NHS. Unfortunately for Trump, that wasn’t the case. According to the demonstration’s organizers, marchers were actually urging to the government to further support, fund and preserve the current system — something UK government officials weren’t shy to point out.

Both the UK’s Prime Minister Theresa May and Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt had their own choice words for the president.

Listen to the segment below to hear Ethan Bearman dive into their responses.
