US spies promised intel on leaked NSA cyber weapons get Trump’s secrets instead

The New York Times reported that American spies handed over a $100,000 installment to a shadowy Russian in exchange for intel on crippling leaked NSA cyber weapons, only to receive unsolicited secrets on Trump instead!

The story, which broke on Friday, has since been called fictional by the CIA and prompted Trump to revive his go-to “drain the swamp” battle cry. Despite this, the reporter behind the controversy, Matthew Rosenberg, isn’t backing down.

He joined Armstrong & Getty to clarify what he called one of the weirdest stories of his career.
