Tech News: Amazon’s new credit card (that also works at Whole Foods!), Best Buy’s deal with the FBI and a streaming war update

KGO’s tech expert Jason Middleton joined host Ethan Bearman to break down a few of the top tech stories of the week!

First up, Middleton updated Bearman on new developments on Best Buy’s Geek Squad’s potentially unconstitutional agreement with the FBI to scrub customers’ computers for child pornography.

After that, the two talked “streaming wars,” and weighed in on what they expect to come of the increasingly competitive and overcrowded market — especially with the addition of power player Disney!

Lastly, Bearman and Middleton take a look at Amazon’s latest innovative approaches to acquire a wider range of customers. They dove into the details of the e-commerce giant’s new credit card, which also works at Whole Foods, and decision to reduce their Prime fee for Medicaid recipients!
