Amazon Prime Day will “break the internet” in just six short days. What began as a corporate holiday sale to celebrate the e-commerce giant’s 20th anniversary in 2015 has evolved into an annual tradition that consumers can’t get enough of.

On Monday, July 16, at 12 p.m., millions of dedicated bargain seekers will begin eagerly filling their carts, frantically shopping before the promised 36 hours of deals is up! If you’re a Prime Day rookie, the shear amount of marked-down items available can be overwhelming.

What you need is a strategy! Louis Ramirez, deals editor for Tom’s Guide, joined host Michael Finney in the podcast below to get you started with some pointers. He shared what products will get you the best bang for your buck, how Whole Foods is being integrated this year and a tool he personally endorses that will allow you to make sure you are in fact gaining from your purchase, and not just the victim of price manipulation!
