“I think we could risk sending a justice to the court with question marks and asterisks on his name.” – Eric Swalwell, U.S. Congressman

In today’s report, host Ronn Owens welcomed U.S. Congressman Eric Swalwell to get his thoughts on the FBI report released to Judiciary Committee Senators earlier today. Like much of the public, Swalwell was rather unsettled by the fact that neither Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh or his accuser Christine Blasey Ford were interviewed during the investigation. Despite President Trump saying the FBI could look into the background of anyone they thought pertinent, according to Bloomberg that was not the case. The publication claimed the White House prevented the bureau from meeting with the two key players. Dozens others have come forward since saying they too were not contacted despite affirmatively reaching out to the FBI. With the limited scope taken into account, Swalwell told Owens he fears “we could risk sending a justice to the court with question marks and asterisks on his name.”
