After discussing the end of the partial government shutdown with Elizabeth Drew yesterday, our Washington focus turned to the 2020 Presidential race. We talked with CNN’S Senior Political Analyst and Anchor John Avlon. With Trump at a low point (56% of potential voters saying they would not vote for him under any circumstances), Democrats are starting campaigning already. We focused on the two current poll leaders, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and the possibility of former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz entering the fray and conceivably getting enough votes to undermine the Dems chances.
