“Sanders wants to have an impact and he thinks he might be able to win,”
This morning another US Senator joined the 2020 Presidential race. This time it was Bernie Sanders. We talked with Washington Examiner Senior Political Correspondent David Drucker about his chances and his stands.
David made some very interesting points including:
- He is not by any stretch the most liberal candidate running. If anything, he shares trade beliefs with President Trump.
- In 2016 his late entry into the race had the benefit of no substantial opponent research. This time will be different.
- He is extremely weak in foreign affairs.
