Ronn Owens Report: The Difference between Impeachment and Removal

“When you hear President Trump is likely to get impeached, that doesn’t actually mean he is going to get removed from office… The best way to think about it is in a criminal case, you have an indictment and you have a trial. It’s in all likelyhood that the President will be ‘indicted’, so to speak, but probably not found guilty by the Senate,”


Back to the continuing national issue: impeachment. Ronn Owens talked with Lanhee Chen, Director of Domestic Policy Studies at the Hoover Institution. They discussed the important difference between impeachment and removal from office, the Democrats’ difficulty in pursuing the inquiry at the expense of ignoring important issues and the possible irony of John Bolton becoming a hero of the left.
