Our 30th Annual KGO Leukemia Cure-A-Thon is April 9 and 10, 2010. Wow! When we started the Cure-A-Thon, we had no idea that 30 years later we would have raised $18 million for blood cancer research and still be going strong. The phone number to contribute is 1-800-810-2873 (CURE).

Dramatic progress has been made in developing new treatment protocols and patients are living longer, better lives. Thirty years ago children diagnosed with Leukemia had less than a 66% chance of survival and today more than 90% survive. That's amazing progress - but there is still so much to do! Nearly 50% of cancer survivors suffer long-term side effects of their treatment and our work today can change their tomorrows.
