A message for news media: Stop running photos that make shooters look “movie-star cool”

Armstrong & Getty have a message for news media following the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. It’s pretty simple: Stop publicizing “cool” images of  shooters that make them look like they are straight off the screen of a Hollywood movie. It’s not just small news outlets guilty of engaging in the behavior either, this is a direct slap at the New York Time’s photo choice (shown in the video).
