The story the Trump administration isn’t telling you about regulatory rollbacks, your health is in danger

During Trump’s time in office the term regulation has become synonymous with “job killing,” “money sucker” and “unnecessary.” However, the administration’s narrative conveniently fails to acknowledge such rules are frequently science backed and stem from the interest of public safety.

Clean water, pure air and earthquake-safe buildings are a handful of positive outcomes that we have regulations to thank for and could be in danger in the near future.

Andy Rosenberg, a member of the Union of Concerned Scientists, joined host Michael Finney, to speak on the importance of fighting against government officials leading with political and personal views instead of facts. Rosenberg has acquired more than 25 years of experience in government service and nonprofit leadership and is a professor at the University of New Hampshire, where he previously served as the dean of the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture.
