SFO Food Service Workers Prepare for Upcoming Informational Pickets

What’s going on at SFO is that these airline beverage employees and a lot of the people who are associated with supporting air travel from the standpoint of catering are looking at [upcoming informational pickets].

“Nathaniel has been working up to 14 hours a day, six days a week for 20 years. He’s been preparing liquor to be loaded onto United Airlines planes at SFO. He says he works a second job as an Uber driver, only to barely make ends meet,”

Once the union is released by the National Mediation Board, which is necessary before an [informational picket] can take place. Workers overwhelmingly agree to okay a [picket]. The employees work for Lsg Sky Chefs and Gate Gourmet, which are subcontractors providing meals for United delta and American Airlines.
