Today is 9/11, the date of the world-changing assault on our values and our lives. What Ronn Owens found fascinating was that The New York Times, the paper of record in the city that suffered most of the horror, didn’t have a single story on its front page which referred to anything unusual that happened 18 years ago. Ronn’s gut (and hope) is that by ignoring it, they send a message to terrorists that we won’t live in fear. Our lives are normal and we’re not going to let your desire for attention disrupt our lives today.
