California Air National Guard Fighter Jets Will Fly Over the Bay Area to Honor Front Line Workers Today


California Air National Guard fighter jets with the 144th Fighter Wing will fly over the state to honor front-line workers today.
The F-15C Eagle fighter jets will take off at 10:00 am from California Air National Guard Base in Fresno and fly over medical facilities across the state. The jets are expected to fly over Richmond/Oakland at 10:43 am and San Jose at 10:56 am. They are expected to finish their tour by flying over Fresno/Clovis at 12:21 pm.
In a press release from the California Air National Guard, residents were asked to watch from home and continue maintaining physical distancing by avoiding groups of people and landmarks.
According to ABC7 the, “Pilots plan to do a low pass at several locations, including the Capitol, California Office of Emergency services and the headquarters for the California Highway Patrol Academy.”
