The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is reopening, free of charge!
To commemorate their reopening, they’re celebrating with Free Community Days from Sunday, October 4 – Sunday, October 18 including free parking at the museum garage for members and visitors. As stated not their website they are encouraging you to, “Come back and enjoy the tranquil galleries, airy terraces, kid-friendly spaces, and world-class artwork you love, or visit for the first time and discover something new.”
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SFMOMA added additional guidelines to keep both the staff and visitors safe. The rules include limiting attendance to 25% capacity, requiring social distancing and all visitors 3 and older must wear facial masks while in the building. Entry will be through timed tickets, to ensure entry you can reserve tickets online. Tickets are for one entry only, there are no in and out privileges.

SFMOMA is open Friday – Monday from 10 am – 5 pm and Thursday from 1 pm – 8 pm. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays
