As the holiday season approaches and coronavirus cases continue to rise, fears of holiday travel increase as well. In addition to individuals’ fear, many states are releasing safety guidelines for people to celebrate in a COVID-19 friendly environment.
Governor Gavin Newsom is urging Californians not to travel out of state, but if you do leave the state he advises a 14-day quarantine. After almost eight months of coronavirus and various forms for shelter-in-place rules, people want to enjoy these holidays with their loved ones. So, Nikki Medoro spoke to ABC’s Correspondent Jim Ryan about traveling during a pandemic and what you can do to stay safe.
