Would you hire Trump’s legal team?

Trump is the first president ever to face two impeachment trials, as well as the first in history to be tried after leaving the White House.

The trial is clearly uncomfortable for many Republican senators, who, like their Democratic colleagues, had to flee to safety during the violence. Reminders of the mayhem are everywhere around them, with thousands of National Guard troops still deployed around the newly fortified Capitol building.

Three priests have contracted the coronavirus

Three priests at San Francisco’s Sts. Peter and Paul Church have contracted the coronavirus, forcing the church to hold all of its Masses online just as court rulings and health orders are allowing in-person religious services in California.

Trans rights are human rights

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended President Biden’s executive order that called on schools across the country to permit students to participate in sports under their chosen gender identity. When asked by a reporter Tuesday, what Biden’s message was to school officials tackling the disputes regarding transgender and cisgender girls competing together, particularly for college scholarships, Psaki said, “the president’s belief is that trans rights are human rights. “And that’s why he signed that executive order,” she said. “And in terms of the determinations by universities and colleges, I would certainly defer to them.”
