Gilroy Garlic Festival Returns Summer 2021

Employees and volunteers at Windermere Real Estate work at selling “#Gilroy Strong” T-shirts, with proceeds benefiting shooting victims, in Gilroy, Calif., Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Gilroy is the latest U.S. community to vow that a gunman wouldn’t tear them down. The Gilroy Garlic Festival will return this year after the 200 festival was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The festival will occur over two weekends, July 23rd – 25th and July 30th – August 1st. The Gilroy Presbyterian Church will host the festival instead of Christmas Hill Park as there will not be large crowds or vendors.

Gilroy Garlic tweeted some guidelines, including the traditional “Gourmet Alley” where attendees can drive-thru to pick up their food, but cannot park or eat.

More details on the beloved Gilroy Garlic Festival will be announced in May. For updates, visit the festival’s official website.
