How does the White House think they’ve handled the pandemic worldwide?
India is facing 12 straight days of receiving over 300,000 positive coronavirus cases per day. The case numbers don’t stop there as the government fears countless cases remain undocumented.
As India’s cases spike, ABC White House Correspondent Karen Travers joins The Morning Show with Nikki Medoro to discuss how the White House dealt with the pandemic. Travers explained the administration believes they have handled the pandemic well and now will try to help the rest of the world primarily in two parts.
“The United State is trying to help the hospitals that are over run and help the government try and get a better sense of what they are dealing with, that’s part one and then part two of course is the vaccination. The administration said there are 60 million astrazeneca doses that it will distribute around the world including India. Again, there is still no timeline on when that would happen,” said Travers.
