Walgreens offers $25 with COVID-19 vaccination

Starting Tuesday, individuals receiving a COVID-19 vaccine at a Walgreens pharmacy will also get $25 in Walgreens Cash rewards.

The promotion, running through June 26, is an incentive to encourage people to get vaccinated n support of President Joe Biden’s National Month of Action. Parents or guardians of teenagers who get the coronavirus vaccine at Walgreens can redeem the cash rewards on behalf of their children.

California is providing a range of freebies if residents get vaccinated. Governor Gavin Newsom announced six vaccinated California residents will win a “Dream Vacation“, Six Flags will give away 50,000 tickets to fully vaccinated Californians and a $116.5 million giveaway.

“We are confident these vaccine incentives have worked and that’s why we want to continue in that spirit,” Newsom said.

McDonald’s announced their partnership with the California Department of Public Health to offer COVID-19 vaccinations and a free menu item at more than 70 locations throughout the state.

Krispy Kreme is giving one free doughnut a day to any person who shows their vaccine card.
