Every home in the United States is now eligible to order 8 more free at-home COVID-19 tests.

The third round of free coronavirus tests brings to total number to 16 free tests to each household. In a statement, the Biden administration said the “free and accessible tests will help slow the spread of the virus.”

The Biden administration began a program to deliver free at-home Covid-19 tests in January, providing four tests to each household. Then, in March, the administration offered four more tests to all American residents.

“To date, the Administration has delivered approximately 350 million free tests to mailboxes and doorsteps across the country, in U.S. territories, and at overseas military bases, with most tests delivered by the U.S. Postal Service within 48 hours of shipping,” said Biden.
