A group of lucky kids got a sneak peak of the Presidio Tunnel Tops, a 14-acre park that connects Presidio center to Crissy Field.
The brand new national park, opening Sunday July 17, sits above the Presidio Parkway tunnels and will provide Golden Gate views you can’t find anywhere else in San Francisco.
Tunnel Tops is free, accessible for all and easy to go to with public transportation, according to its website.
The Presidio Tunnel Tops has attractions for the whole family, including:
- Plenty of play spaces for kids
- Picnic areas
- Walking trails
- Places to fly a kite
- Wonderful views
- Safe space for a campfire
The sneak peek comes as Governor Newsom declared June 14-18 as California State Parks Week.
