A Florida woman who decided to stay in for a calm, relaxing evening at home on Saturday ended up experiencing the shock of her life when she found a huge iguana bathing in her toilet.
Hollywood resident Michelle Reynolds says she’d just put a bag of popcorn in the microwave when she went to use the restroom. “I opened the door and did a quick turnaround because I saw this thing in there,” she says. The “thing” Reynolds is referring to: a Mexican spiny tail iguana, which measured nearly 24 inches long. “He took up most of the toilet bowl,” she notes.
When it became obvious the iguana had no plans to leave on its own, Reynolds called the wildlife removal service Iguana Lifestyles, which sent Harold Rondon out to retrieve the reptile. “This is the second one this week already,” he says.
